Ahoy there, Lisa! Welcome aboard planDisney, and thank you so much for sailing our way with your question!
I don't know about you, but the excitement that comes with
planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation is
almost as fun as Embarkation Day! Ok, so maybe not really, but getting excited about all the things that you'll get to experience is a great way to make that countdown go faster!
While there isn't an official payment plan, in most cases, with enough advanced planning you can definitely make payments over time as you see fit!
My family and I usually make a reservation and pay our deposit to secure our stateroom and itinerary, and then during check out we make note of when our final payment is due. Once we know that date, we divide the rest of the payments by the number of months and have our "unofficial payment plan!"
We have found that this is a great way to budget for our vacations, and helps us concentrate on the fun we'll be having rather than the price tag! As our cruise gets closer, we can check our progress under the
"My Reservations" section of the website or in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, and if we feel particularly spendy, we can pay in full at any time! This is especially helpful since booking windows for activities and
Port Adventures depend on not only your
Castaway Club status, but being paid in full as well!
I hope that draws a clear map for you and your crew, Lisa! Thank you so much for your question, and if any others surface as you are browsing itineraries, please drop me another message in a bottle here at planDisney
SEA ya real soon!
