Is there a payment plan to set up a Disney vacation for 12/26/23?

Hey Howdy Hey Anne and welcome to planDisney!

Visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most Magical time of the year is such a great way to spend the holiday season. So much will be happening in Walt Disney World Resort at that time for this special celebration as well as carrying through the new year. I am so excited to hear you will be planning your trip for December in 2023 and will be happy to address your question on payments towards your vacation!

When it comes to making payments, it depends on which options you book. If you book a vacation package with Disney, which includes reservations at a Disney Resort Collection hotel and theme park tickets, a $200.00 deposit is required to hold your reservation. Final payments are due 30 days from your date of travel. You are more than welcome to make payments towards your vacation before your final payments are due which you can do online through your My Disney Experience account. After you make your reservation and your reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience account, this is where you will have full access to your reservation and your plans. If you scroll to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section, you should see a hyperlink on the right that says "Make Payment" which you will click on to be taken to the payment processing screen. Select your method of payment and the amount you want to pay and you should be all set! Payments made before your 30-day mark are entirely optional and not required but this is as close to a payment plan you have with a vacation package with Disney.

If you were to book a room-only reservation, this is a little different. When you book, you are required to put a deposit which equals the first night's charge plus tax. The total amount due would be due at check-in. No payments can be made before your check-in date.

Ticket-only purchases you will need to pay the full amount of the tickets at the time of check out. No payment plans are used during this process.

As you continue to move forward planning your trip for next year, there is a lot that may change between now and then. One place to get all of your Disney information is over at the Disney Parks Blog. There is so much information about all the goings on from things happening at the resorts, in the parks and of course, Foodie Guides to navigating you through all the special food options in the parks and resorts! Make sure to follow along this year during the holiday season to give you a glimpse of what you will have waiting for your next year!

    Happy Planning,

    Nick
