Is there a payment plan for planning a WDW vacation

Hey howdy hey Allison and welcome back to planDisney!

We are so excited to welcome you to Walt Disney World Resort real soon! When it comes to planning a Disney vacation, there are many things to consider from dates to make hotel and dining reservations, what parks and what time throughout the year to visit to name a few. Paying for your trip before your date of arrival does come with deposits and dates for final payments so let's go over a few things.

If you book a vacation package directly with Disney, you will be required to put down a $200.00 deposit at the time of booking and final payment is due 30 days from your date of arrival. If you so choose, you can make payments on your vacation through your My Disney Experience account before the final payment due date. Simply log on to My Disney Experience, click on "Resort Hotel" and there should be a tab for "Make a Payment". You can make any payment amount towards your vacation from here and you will see the history of your payments and final amount updated as well as the date of the final payment. If you choose to book through a vacation planner, you can set the payments up with them as well to pay down your final payment total.

Now if you book a room-only hotel reservation with Disney, you will be required to put a down payment equivalent to your first night's stay plus tax. The remaining balance is due at check-in on your date of arrival and you are not able to pay the final payment before that date.

Regardless of when you book your trip, make sure you keep up to date on any Special Offers that Disney releases for vacationing in Walt Disney World Resort. They often have special discounts for hotel only and vacation packages. If you see that your vacation falls into one of these offers, check-in your My Disney Experience account and under "My Reservation" section, there should be a link for "Change My Reservation". You will be able to see if your vacation qualifies for the offer as well as an option to rebook your trip with the new discount. You can also call Disney at (407) 939-1936 and have a Cast Member help apply the discount to your vacation.

Hopefully this puts your mind at ease a bit when planning your next trip to Walt Disney World. We are so excited to welcome you to the Most Magical Place on Earth and if you have any further questions let us know. We love talking all things Disney here at planDisney!

    Happy planning,
