Hi Laura, and welcome to planDisney!
I love that visiting Walt Disney World is on your list of places to visit in 2026. From EPCOT’s nearly
year-round festivals to being one with nature at
Animal Kingdom, the number of things to see and do at the theme parks is endless. It’s my pleasure to answer your question about how to tap into that magic.
At the moment, there isn’t a payment plan option for buying theme park tickets through Disney World. If you want theme park tickets without an entire vacation package, you have to pay for them in full. If you book a
Disney Vacation Package, which includes both theme park tickets and a Resort hotel stay, you can make an initial deposit and make self payments (not automatic withdrawals) via your
My Disney Experience account.
I love using
Disney Gift Cards to help me budget for Disney World visits. Consider looking for discounted Disney Gift Cards at local department stores or buying them over time in preparation for your vacation. They never expire (eek!) and you can combine multiple cards up to a $1,000 value on the Disney Gift Card website. You can seriously use these for almost everything on Disney property. Mickey ice cream bars? Disney Gift Card.
Lightning Lane access? Disney Gift Card. Theme park tickets? It works for those, too!
AN EXTRA GEM: If you are a Florida resident, there is an automatic monthly payment plan option for all tiers of annual passes. However, this is only for people who can show
proof of Sunshine State residency. I hope that you can visit the Disney World theme parks real soon, Laura. And if now isn’t the right time, the parks are 100% worth the wait. Thanks again for stopping by! If you have more Disney vacation planning questions, please
give us a holler here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
