Is there a payment plan option and how do I access it?

    Hi Martene,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question.  I am happy to see you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort this fall, I am sure you will have a magical time!

While Disney does not offer a payment plan, depending on what you book there are several payment options that make saving for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation easy.  When booking a Walt Disney World Vacation Package that includes both a Resort Hotel stay as well as Theme Park Tickets, guests are able to secure the reservation with a deposit and then make payments toward the balance owing in My Disney Experience.  Once you have signed in to My Disney Experience, open My Plans and then scroll down to My Plans, Reservations and Tickets.  There you will be able to see all of your reservation details including the remaining balance.  Right beside the balance will be a link to make a payment.  From there all you need to do is follow the prompts to complete your payment, at your convenience.

If you choose to book a Resort Hotel Room only, once the deposit is paid, the final balance is due upon check-in.  What I like to do is purchase Disney Gift Cards when I am out shopping and use those gift cards to pay for my balance.  It is an easy way to save for my Disney Vacation, I don't even notice saving!

Theme Park Tickets, if purchased without a vacation package are required to be paid for in full when purchasing.  Another tip would be to purchase one at a time to spread the payment out if needed, but I don't recommend leaving your Theme Park Ticket purchase too close to your arrival date.  Since capacity is still limited, the earlier you are able to purchase your Theme Park Tickets, the earlier you will be eligible to make your Theme Park Reservations which are needed to secure entry into a Theme Park.

I hope that you found my answer useful, Martene.  Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, we are always happy to help.
