Welcome to planDisney, Michael. It sounds like you're planning on adding some magic to your summer, which I love to hear. There are so many different ways that you can put together your Disneyland Resort vacation.
If you're looking for something that offers a payment plan, I would consider going the route of a
Disneyland Vacation Package. With a package, your hotel stay and theme park tickets are purchased together and you're able to
make payments along the way. You have the option of staying at a
Disneyland Resort hotel or at a
Good Neighbor Hotel. At the time of booking, you will be charged a deposit of $200 (subject to change), with the remaining balance due 30 days before your arrival date. Once you receive your ticket information via email, you will want to make your
theme park reservations as soon as possible.
Your next big decision to make will be which hotel to stay at. I love staying in the Disney bubble at a Disneyland Resort hotel whenever possible. My favorite hotel would have to be the Disneyland Hotel. There's just something special about this iconic location that's filled with nostalgia and whimsy. I love speeding into Tomorrowland by way of the Disneyland Monorail. You also get one
complimentary Lightning Lane entry for each registered hotel guest that can be used for a Lightning Lane attraction during your resort stay. The best part is that it doesn't have to be scheduled and you can use this perk at your leisure.
Well, Michael, I hope that the information I shared is helpful as you're getting ready to start your planning journey. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with along the way. Here's wishing you a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Adventure is out there!
