Hi there, Kevin!
Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney. It's great that you're already planning your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth--the earlier, the better! I am more than happy to give you more information about how to pay for your trip.
First, if you plan to buy theme park tickets only (without a Resort hotel vacation package), there is no payment plan option. The full amount is due at the time of the purchase. And these tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
AN EXTRA GEM: However, you can use a credit card or a
Disney Gift Card to pay for your theme park tickets. Every now and then, I see discounts on buying Disney Gift Cards at retail stores. Even if you don't pay for your tickets with them, they're great to collect and then use in the theme parks for food and merchandise.
Now, there is indeed a way to make payments toward a
Walt Disney World vacation package, which includes theme park tickets and a Resort hotel stay. You can put a certain amount of money down (currently, that is a $200 deposit) and the total is due 30 days before your first night's stay.
As you can see, there's no official payment plan, but you will have a lot of time to make payments toward your vacation. This is how you can make your own payments online on the Walt Disney World Resort website:
-Log in to your
My Disney Experience account and select "My Plans."
-Find your upcoming vacation package reservation.
-Select "Make a Payment."
Finally, there is also no payment plan for a room-only reservation. You will pay for a portion of your stay at the time of booking, and the rest will be paid either once you arrive at the hotel or you can pay ahead of time with a Cast Member on the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone number.Kevin, I hope that this information helps you! And if you have any other questions, feel free to
reach out to me here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
