What are the payment options for food in the parks? Obviously the sit down places take credit cards. What about counter service or food carts? Just trying to figure out how much cash we need to have on hand for our first family vacation to Disney World!

Hi Dawn!  Just about every food location will take your credit card or cash. I believe I have even seen credit cards used at the popcorn stands.  Also remember that you can charge everything from a snack at a food cart to a full fledged sit down dinner on your room key if you are a Disney resort guest. This is such a convenient way to keep track of spending and not have to carry large amounts of money with you when visiting the parks. Then at check-out you will pay for the entire trip with one card. What works best for you is what is best for Disney. They try to take the stress and hassle out of family vacation!
