Ahoy there, Sheila, and welcome to planDisney. It looks like you’re considering an adventure at sea, and I personally couldn’t think of a better way to spend my vacation time.
When you book your Disney Cruise Line vacation, you don't have to pay in full right away; you’ll just need to place a deposit to secure your stateroom. Think of it as your first official step toward magic on the high seas! Your final payment is typically due either 90 or 120 days before your sail date, depending on the length of your cruise and stateroom category.
Even though no official payment plans are offered, I like to budget for cruising with Disney by taking advantage of the
special 0% financing for six months that’s currently offered. That way, I can space out my payments according to my budget.
In addition to keeping an eye on the cute Disney emoticon countdown you’ll find on the front page of your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once booked, I also create a countdown in my calendar for my payment deadline. As soon as I’m paid in full, I sometimes treat myself by booking a special onboard extra like a spa treatment or
Port Adventure.
