Hi Danielle!
Thanks for sailing back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel as you prepare for your unforgettable cruise! It sounds like you've booked your own personal island getaway on
Disney's private island, Castaway Cay: a private cabana! Once you settle in, you're not going to want to leave your ocean view home away from home.
Once onboard, you'll typically see charges for any extras, such as your private cabana on Castaway Cay or the delicious brunch at Palo, applied to your
stateroom folio after you've enjoyed them. Most Guests place a credit card on their reservation during their Online Check-in. Any charges made to your stateroom account during your voyage will then be paid for by the credit card on file.
You are going to get above-and-beyond service from each Cast Member while onboard your Disney Cruise. With that being said, while sailing as a Concierge-level Guest, the customer service is simply on an entirely different level! How much in gratuities you want to give to your Concierge Team is entirely up to you. I usually base how much my family gives the Concierge Team on the
suggested gratuity amounts found on Disney Cruise Line's website, keeping in mind the types of things we requested throughout our voyage. During the last trip, a member of our Concierge Team was our Cabana Host, so we gave him a larger gratuity because he took such stellar care of us in the Bahamian sun!
It was so wonderful hEARing from you again! Please sail back with any other questions!
Beth
