    How to make a payment

    Hiya Lynette,

Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are planning a vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth this summer. If you ask me, there is never a bad time to enjoy a magical retreat to my favorite place, so I hope you are just as excited as I am.

One of the great things about having a vacation planned several months out is the potential to spread out the costs so you can have more money for all the other amazing things during your trip (like DOLE Whip and Mickey Ears). This applies only if you have a Vacation Package. So let’s start there, Lynette. Do you have a Vacation Package (a booking type that combines theme park tickets with a resort hotel reservation, and sometimes a dining plan)? If you do not have a Vacation Package, then you will not be able to make payments toward your vacation. Your final payment for your resort hotel reservation will be due upon check-in. If you have a Vacation Package, you will need to log in to your My Disney Experience account to make payments. Once you log in, you will see a header that says “Lynette’s Plans and Tickets.” Scroll down further on the page to find your resort hotel reservation details for your July trip. Guests with Vacation Packages should see an option to make a payment near their trip confirmation number. If you see that button, click it, and it will redirect you to another screen to make a payment. If you don’t see it and know you have a Vacation Package, I suggest you reach out to a Cast Member in Tickets and Hotel Reservations. They can help you figure out why the option isn’t available and even help you process payments if they need to.

I hope that was helpful, Lynette, and you are able to make payments for your trip. Before I let you go, I know it is a little way away, but as you start thinking about packing lists for your trip, don’t forget to include an umbrella (or poncho/raincoat) and a refillable water bottle. July is one of the warmer months in Orlando, but it can also bring some downpours during the day. Having a water bottle will help you stay hydrated, and the rain gear will keep you dry as you navigate the theme parks (instead of hiding in the Emporium waiting for the rain to stop). If you need anything else, please come back and see us.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
