Hi Jillien, and welcome to planDisney!
It’s great to have you here, and I’m glad you asked this question as it comes up often, especially once that countdown to your
Walt Disney World vacation starts feeling real.
If you booked a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package directly through Disney, you can make a payment anytime by logging into your
My Disney Experience account. Once signed in, hover over the “My Disney Experience” tab and select “My Plans.” From there, scroll down until you see your reservation details. If your package is eligible for payment, you’ll find an option that says “Make a Payment.” Click that link, and you can submit your online payment.
You can also make a payment by phone if you prefer talking to a Cast Member. Simply call the
Walt Disney World Resort reservations line, and a Cast Member will be happy to take care of it for you. If your trip was booked through a travel agent, you’ll want to reach out to them directly since all payments may need to go through the agency that booked your package.
One thing I always recommend is double-checking your remaining balance and due date. Final payments for vacation packages are typically due 30 days before your arrival, so it’s a good idea to take care of it a few days early just to avoid any last-minute stress.
If you only booked a room-only reservation (not a vacation package that includes tickets), your final balance won’t be due until check-in, and you can pay that balance online in advance, by phone, or at your resort’s front desk when you arrive.
Jillien, I hope this helps get you one step closer to your upcoming trip. If you have any trouble finding the payment link or aren’t sure what type of reservation you have,
send me another question here at planDisney, and I’ll gladly help you sort it out.
See you real soon,
Brent
