If I am paying out of pocket(not on the dining plan) can my kids share a meal at a character dining meal? Or do they require each person to order an entree/meal seperately?

    Hi, Amy!

Because the character meals are served either buffet or family style, each member of your party will have to pay for a meal.  Luckily, kids ages 3 - 9 have a child's price for their meals, and kids under age 3 can share from an adult's plate at no charge.

If you are at any other table service location that you order from a regular menu, then your kids would be able to share a meal.   Just remember that anytime there is an "all you care to eat" menu, each person is charged separately.

I hope this helps!  If you have any other questions, let me know!   I would be happy to help you plan your dining or give you restaurant suggestions.   Have fun planning your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
