Hi- I am paying for 9 people to Disneyland. (3 groups). If I make the reservations and purchase the tickets for all nine will we all need to use one account & app or can each group use a separate account and app to make the ride reservations?

Hiya, Charlotte! Thanks for sending your question our way at planDisney!

Nine people?! Wow, it sounds like you will have a blast! I love going to Disneyland Resort with a larger group. I believe the bigger, the better. More people equals more chances for magical memories together.

Back to your question – yes, you can link the same ticket across multiple people’s Disneyland Mobile App accounts. First, share the ticket number with the other people in your group. Once they have their ticket number, they can sign in to the app, select the Menu button, then “Tickets & Passes,” and finally, “Link Tickets & Passes.”

It sounds like you and your group are planning to purchase Genie+. If so, although each person can add their own ticket to their own app, I recommend that at least one person has all nine tickets on a singular app. It will make booking Lightning Lanes easier because only one person will need to book all nine instead of nine people trying to secure the same time.

By the way, Genie+ also comes with unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads. Make sure you take full advantage of this magical perk!

    Happy planning,
