Hi there, Pamela! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question.
I'm so sorry to hear that you've had to put a little pause on the magic and cancel your upcoming trip to the
Disneyland Resort. I'm sending a little faith, trust, and pixie dust that all is well, and you'll be able to find a time to visit again soon. When it comes to canceling your
Disneyland Resort Hotel reservation or vacation package, there are a few days to make note of when you are planning. reservations and
packages are fully refundable if canceled at least 30 days before your arrival. If you're within the 5 - 29 day window, you'll be refunded the full amount paid minus your original deposit. Once you hit the 4-day mark, your vacation becomes fully loaded with magic and is no longer refundable. If you have already canceled, you should see those funds make their way back to you in roughly 7-10 business days. Keep in mind there are a few factors at play here, including holidays and your bank's refund process. If the 10-day mark has come and gone and you still haven't seen your refund, I would go ahead and call the
Guest Services team who would be happy to check on things from their end!
While you won't be able to make it to the parks this holiday season, one of the ways I like to feel the magic between trips is to listen to the new
planDisney Podcast. My fellow panelists are giving out all their best tips and tricks from their personal experiences in the parks. You'll find episodes on
Resorts,
Technology, the
holidays, and so much more!
Pamela, I sure hope this was helpful, and you will be able to make it back to the magic very soon. If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at
planDisney!
Keep wishing on those stars!
Tara
