    I am paying to have a fridge in our room, are there any grocery stores near by?

    Hi there, Marissa!

    You might consider giving the Walt Disney World Resort a call at (407) W-DISNEY; as of this writing, most - if not all! - of the hotels, including, most recently, the Value Resorts - offer in-room refrigerators as an included amenity. And do remember that every hotel does offer on-site dining and a shop for convenience items and staples.

    There are a variety of grocery stores in driving distance of Disney property. You can find a list on the fan site MouseSavers.com: http://www.mousesavers.com/otherwdw.html#groceries. Please be advised that this site is not affiliated with Walt Disney World.

    Consider, too, a resource like Garden Grocer. This company offers delivery of any number of items right to your door. It has been in business for over six years, and serves the Orlando area. Many of the Moms here on the panel have had excellent experiences. Their Web site is www.GardenGrocer.com; again, please remember that this is not a Walt Disney World-owned business.

    You should have no trouble acquiring all of the goodies you need to fill out your fridge ans to keep tummies happy and content as you enjoy your time in the World!
