Will I have to pay for my 2 yr olds meals? He doesn't qualify for a meal plan. And he's a super picky eater (hamburgers, corn dogs and grilled cheese). And when we are at a dining restaurant will they make him one even if it's not on the menu?

Hi Destiny, thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Guests under the age of 3 are special guests of my good pal, Mickey Mouse, and can actually eat for free at Walt Disney World.  If you are eating at all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurants like 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's or Cape May Cafe, just to name a few, your child can have as many of his own plates off of the buffet as he likes.  If you dine at restaurants where you order an entree off of the menu, your child is welcome to share from anyone's plate at your table.  The only time you have to pay out of pocket for a child under 3 years of age is if you wish to order them something extra off of the menu.  All restaurants do offer a children's menu but if you don't see anything he would like, it never hurts to ask.  Even though you may not be paying for your child's meal, be sure to include him in the number of people dining when you make the reservation.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.  Have a fantastic day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
