Hello again, Claire, and may I wish you a very warm welcome back here to planDisney!
There's nothing more magical than having a bibbidi-bobbidi-beautiful holiday countdown to Walt Disney World Resort in your life! Claire, within our
Panel Extras, you can find a whole host of fun suggestions and top planDisney tips to further help with your jolly holiday planning.
I must admit that one of my most looked forward to pastimes at Walt Disney World Resort is being able to shop until I drop at
Disney Springs. And to shop, one must have access to funds!
Typically, on past trips to the United States of America, I've successfully budgeted and spent using a mix of cash in US dollars ($), credit cards,
Disney Gift Cards, and also pre-paid currency cards. My one caveat to using a pre-paid currency card would be to always have an alternative method of payment ready in your pocket, just in case for whatever reason, the card type is not accepted by the vendor.
Claire, it might be worth bearing in mind that at this time, pre-paid currency cards are not accepted as a
payment method that can be linked to your My Disney Experience account. To enable Guests to easily make orders via the super convenient
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering utility on their
My Disney Experience account, they will need to link a valid credit or debit card such as a Visa or Mastercard. Or, if using them, Disney Gift Cards can also be used as payment too!
Claire, I hope that I've been able to offer a little zip-a-dee-doo-dah advice for you today. If you should have any further questions for me regarding your upcoming holiday to the most magical place on earth, then please do pop back to see
me here at planDisney. Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
