Do you have to pay upfront when reserving a golf cart or will they hold one with a credit card?

    Hi Cynthia,

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  You are going to have a wonderful time at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, there is so much to do and see!

My family and I have stayed in the Cabins several times and our favourite part is using the Golf Cart to explore the Resort and Campground.  When renting your Golf Cart, you do not need to pay a deposit, but you will need to use your credit card for a credit card guarantee.  To reserve a Golf Cart, please call (407) 824-2742 to speak with a Cast Member who will assist you with your booking.  Reservations are highly recommended as the Golf Carts are very popular.  Some Golf Carts may be available when you arrive, however they will be first come first serve, if there are any available at all.  Golf Carts can be picked  up starting at 11:00 am.  You will need to complete some forms, don't forget to bring the drivers licence's of anyone who will be driving the Golf Cart as the Cast Member will need to see everyone's licence.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort has so many unique activities, I would also suggest that if you have time, hop in your Golf Cart and visit Tri-Circle-D Ranch.  Here you will get to visit up close with the many of Disney's majestic horses, learn about the history of the horses and even enjoy a pony or horse drawn carriage ride around the grounds.

I hope you have a magical visit at Walt Disney World Resort, Cynthia.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
