Do I have to pay for my trip in full before I can order my Magic Bands?

Hey, Marianne! Thank you for stopping by with your question. Customizing our MagicBands is my daughters' favorite part of our vacation planning. They went absolutely nuts when purple became available as a MagicBand color! Do you have a practically perfect color in mind yet? If not, it's time to get to picking one!

You are welcome to customize your MagicBands at any time after your Walt Disney World Resort hotel stay is booked and linked to your My Disney Experience account. Just head to the MagicBands and Cards section of your account and you should have an order created for your stay. If you do not see one there, make sure your stay is linked via the confirmation number you were provided. If you continue to have issues, just give a My Disney Experience, MagicBands and FastPass+ Cast Member a call and they will be happy to look into the issue for you. Your MagicBand customization window will close around a month before your trip and they should ship to your home around two weeks prior, if you did choose to have them shipped.

Quick tip: Your vacation balance does not have to be paid in full to make FastPass+ selections either! As a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will be able to make these selections up to 60 days in advance. Some of these FastPass+ selections go very quickly, so make sure your theme park tickets are linked and start selecting!
