If I pay for tickets now and get a resort later ( to anticipate special offers), will I still get the extra magical hour or can I only get that perk if I bundle tickets and hotel. We are going in August 2020 so I am trying to plan ahead! Thank you

Hi Tyler! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

A summer vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort sounds wonderful! I can tell you have been doing your research when it comes to planning for your upcoming visit. Choosing to stay at a Disney Resort hotel is a very wise decision, because it truly makes a Disney vacation feel complete. You don't have to leave the magic at the end of the day since it carries on at your resort!

I think you'll be happy to know that any Guest of a Disney Resort hotel can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours (with valid theme park admission), even if they didn't purchase a full vacation package. During Extra Magic Hours your MagicBand will be scanned to verify that you are a Disney Resort hotel Guest and you will be able to enjoy all the fun with much smaller crowds!

You will also have other benefits available to you like complimentary Walt Disney World transportation, Disney's Magical Express, merchandise delivery to your Disney Resort hotel, FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance, complimentary theme park parking, and much more!

I hope this helps with your planning, Tyler! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
