Have to pay for 1 table service meal bc of Hoop-Dee-Do using 2 credits, which would be cheapest to purchase? Bfast @ Tusker House, Bfast @ Chef Mickey, Lunch @ Crystal Palace, Dinner @ Garden Grill, or lunch @ Sci-Fi Theatre? LOVE THE PANEL!! THANKS!!

    Hi Mindy,

I would say that the your most inexpensive meal will be either breakfast at Tusker House or lunch at Sci-Fi.  It gets a little bit tricky determining which restaurant to choose from there.  As a buffet, the Tusker House prices are around $21 for adults and $12.00 for children (prices subject to change).  Depending on what you order for lunch at Sci-Fi, you could eat for less than that.  There are some sandwich options that are under $15, and if you chose not to order dessert, it would probably be cheaper.

I would probably pay out of pocket at Sci-Fi.  Appetizers aren't included on the basic meal plan, nor are specialty drinks.  I find that our family tends to order these items, and we end up having to pay more out of our pocket for these things, anyway.  The kids' menu is definitely more inexpensive at Sci-Fi, so it usually ends up being a better deal for us to pay out of pocket here.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
