If i pay for sometging in disney using my magic band can i pay it off at the hotel before its charged to my credit card? Or can anyone tell me how it that all works. Thanks :)

    Hiya Shannon!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Ok, I'll hopefully be able to explain this so it won't be too confusing!  Here goes!

When you check in, you can put a credit card on file to charge for purchases.  This is the card that will link to your MagicBand for purchases.  At each resort level, there's a account threshold 'guideline' that's met before that it's charged to your card.  For Value Resorts it is around $500, Moderate Resorts it is around $1000, and Deluxe Resorts, I believe it is around $1500.  Once your MagicBand charges meet or exceed that limit (or you check out), your card is charged, and the account threshold starts to build again.  Keep in mind the numbers I've referenced are more of a guide.  If you are quickly reaching your account threshold over the course of  a day, it might be charged out before it is met so that your MagicBand doesn't decline--it can all be a bit tricky to balance!

So, you should be able return to your resort each night and pay your balance, or pay it in the morning before you head out to the parks in the morning--keeping the above thresholds in the back of your mind for reference.  You can also track your spending using the My Disney Experience mobile app--so super handy!

    Have a magical vacation!
