    Can I pay for my room at Grand Californian with a Disney Gift Card?

    Welcome Foolish Mortals to planDisney. I’m so happy to see that you are considering a stay at a Disney Resort hotel. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is a dream! I’m so excited for you!

    Nellani, you are more than welcome to pay for your stay with a Disney Gift Card. In fact, paying with a Disney Gift Card is one of my favorite ways to pay when visiting the Disneyland Resort. I recommend calling the Disneyland Resort to pay with your Disney Gift Card via telephone.

    Please also keep in mind that you will need to still bring a credit card with you to hold on the account during your stay. Other than that, you're free to use your Disney Gift Card at most locations. My family usually travels with at least two different gift cards. One is used towards food and the other towards souvenirs. It’s an easy way for us to “stay on budget”.
