Hi Margot! Welcome to planDisney! I hope that your question means that you’ve recently made a reservation for an incredible Walt Disney World vacation! I am happy to try to shed some light on the reservation process and include some other helpful tidbits I like to share.
Without knowing the exact date of your vacation, I will venture a guess that you made a reservation for a Walt Disney World vacation package, including a
Disney Resort Hotel reservation plus
Theme Park Tickets! For this and any other type of Reservation, including Resort Hotel Room only reservations, all that is needed is a
small deposit for reservation, usually around $200! Once the deposit has been made, as long as your reservation is greater than 30 days in advance, no further payments are required. The remaining balance will be due 30 days before starting your trip and can be paid over the phone by
calling a Disney vacation planner!
Margot, have you checked out the
Experience Updates pages? They outline all the information available regarding the Disney Parks' current operations and what you can expect when you take your trip. There are many new procedures and policies to safeguard the health and safety of all Guests and Cast Members, and these are explained in detail! On these pages, you will also find convenient lists of available
attractions and
dining locations.
Lastly, be sure that you use your
My Disney Experience account to make Park Pass Reservations in advance, so you have the best chance of visiting the
Theme Park of your choice on each day of your vacation. Please know that here at planDisney, we love to help plan in any way we can! Don’t hesitate to come back and see us again soon with any additional questions you may have.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Clara
