Hey there, Dawn! Welcome to planDisney. You’ve come to the right place to discuss your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!
I’m so happy you’ve already made that exciting step of booking a reservation and/or vacation package! You’ve most likely made the booking via telephone or online via your
My Disney Experience Account and have paid a deposit to hold the reservation. Generally, this is all that is required until 30 days before the start of your trip! At that point, if not paid previously, the credit card on file will be charged the remaining balance. If you prefer to pay the balance earlier, you can certainly do so! This can be accomplished by calling
Disney reservations by phone, where a Cast Member will be standing by to help.
Dawn, I hope this helps provide clarity on the payment process! If you are staying on property at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, make sure you look into
MagicBands for each member of your travel party. This way, you will be able to leave it all behind each time you leave your amazing Resort room and can make purchases right with your wrist! If your
Park Tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience Account, you will also be able to enter the Theme Parks with a tap of the band!
Before you take your incredible vacation, I recommend that you take some time to review the
newest policies and procedures related to Walt Disney World's safe reopening, including new masking and enhanced cleaning protocols. Also, if you haven’t set a date just yet, you can check the online availability calendar for
Park Pass Reservations before booking, which will allow you to confirm that the Parks you wish to visit are indeed available on your dates.
So fun chatting with you about your adventures, Dawn! Do not hesitate to come back to see us again any time we may be of help again in the future -- we are hEAR for you!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Clara
