Hiya Pam,
Welcome to planDisney! Being able to pay for your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth before you arrive is such a gift. It is the number one reason why I reserve a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package! I love traveling, knowing that most of my expenses have been covered, and I’m free to enjoy the rest of my trip worry-free.
If you have reserved a
Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package (which is a specific reservation that combines a room at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel and a theme park ticket), then I can easily walk you through paying your remaining trip balance. However, if you only reserved a room-only resort reservation, you are not eligible to make payments on your vacation. In this case, any remaining balance is due when you check in. There are two ways to find out if you have a room-only reservation. First, if you purchased your Theme Park tickets in full in a separate transaction from your resort hotel, then you had a room-only reservation. If you can’t recall, go to your original resort hotel email confirmation and scroll until the section after “Contact Us.” If you see the words “Room Only Terms and Conditions,” you have a room-only reservation.
If you determine that you do have a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package, you can make payments through your
My Disney Experience account. Under “My Plans,” scroll until you see your resort hotel details. Next to your resort hotel information, you should see a blue button labeled “Make Payment.” Click the button and follow the on-screen prompts to pay your remaining balance.
I hope that was helpful, Pam. Please come back and see
us if there is anything else we can help you with!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
