We will have to pay out of pocket for one ADR even though we are on the Dining Plan. Out of these three restaurants which would you pay out of pocket Via Napoli, 50's Prime Time Café or Raglan Road? These three are must do's for my family. Thank yo

    Hi Lori,

Thanks for your question about dining at Disney, one of my favorite activities.

If it were my family, I would opt to pay for Via Napoli out of pocket. I have a family of four -- my husband, me, a 15-year-old daughter and a 20-year-old daughter -- and almost without fail, our total bill at Via Napoli is less than at either of the other restaurants you mentioned.

At Via Napoli, the four of us usually share the frito misto appetizer (intended for at least two) and a large pizza. We love, love, love the prosciutto and melon version. Without drinks, that comes out to less than $15 per person. The adult entrees at both Raglan Road and 50's Prime Time Cafe are a bit more than that.

So that's what would work best for us. I suggest you scan the menus of each of the restaurants on the Disney site or on an independent site such as AllEars.net. That can help you estimate a per person cost and decide which restaurant likely will be least expensive for your family, based on their normal tastes.

I hope that's helpful. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you plan your visit. Enjoy!
