Do you have to pay for parking when you stay at a Disney resort?

Hey there, Anne, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! Your Walt Disney World Vacation is quickly approaching, and it’s great to have you here putting the finishing touches on your planning.

Anne, Guests staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel as part of their Disney Vacation are assessed a nightly parking fee to their hotel folio. Additionally, the Resort Hotel parking fees vary by Resort Hotel category (i.e. Value, Moderate, etc). However, Guests staying in a Resort Hotel do receive complimentary Standard Theme Park Parking during their stay! So if you are planning to drive over to the Theme Parks each day, keep this in mind. As you approach the Theme Park Auto Plaza, simply notify the Cast Member that you are a resort Guest. They will scan your MagicBand or MagicMobile Pass, and you’ll be free to proceed into the parking lot. But if you’re anything like me, Disney Transportation will be your best friend during vacation! I enjoy any chance I get to let someone else shuttle me around!

I hope this helps, Anne! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know

You’ve got a friend in me,
