Is there a way to pay for parking prior to your visit to any of the theme parks to save time? Also, what is the approximate price, per day, for parking if you are staying off site? Thank you, Sue

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sue!

Thank you for posting your question about self-parking at the theme parks of Walt Disney World Resort. At present, the fee for standard parking at the theme parks is $22 per day. Daily preferred parking is $45. (Prices, of course, are subject to change.) Parking at the theme parks is complimentary for guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels and Annual Passholders. Parking at Disney Springs and the Disney Water Parks is complimentary for all guests.

Once guests have paid the parking fee at one of the theme parks for the day, they should retain their receipt if they plan to visit another theme park on the same day. Showing that receipt to the parking attendant at the second (or third, or fourth) theme park will permit them to park with no additional fee.

Currently, pre-payment for theme park parking is not an option (although I think that's a great idea). However, I think you'll be surprised how quickly the parking attendants at the Disney theme parks can process payment and help guests start their day. In forty years of visiting Walt Disney World Resort, I have never waited long to enter any of the theme parks.

Let us know if you have any additional questions about your upcoming trip. My friends and I here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel would love to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
