Hey there, Lei! We are so happy to have you drop by planDisney with your question. As Lightning McQueen would say, Kachow!
I'm happy to share that you definitely can pay for
parking on the day of your visit. That's how I do it every time! It is indeed the same price as the price you pay to prepay for your parking voucher on the Disneyland website.
I'm also happy to share that if you purchased a
parking voucher it does not need to be used the same day as the theme park ticket reservation you made when you purchased the parking voucher. Parking vouchers are good for 24 months from the date of purchase, so you have plenty of time to use it. These parking vouchers are good for one day of standard theme park parking at the Toy Story Parking Area, Mickey and Friends Parking Structure, or Pixar Pals Parking Structure.
Did you know that you have in and out parking privileges for the day at any of these locations? As long as there is availability, you can leave and return as long as you have your receipt of payment with you when you return.
Mickey and Friends/Pixar Pal Parking Structures Pro Tip: If you arrive when it is busier and there are long security/tram lines, there is another option! If you don't mind walking, I prefer to head to the second level of Pixar Pals Parking Structure and take the Walkway and sidewalk that will bring you to a security checkpoint and entrance into
Downtown Disney District. I find that this security line is super quick and easy. Just take a stroll through Downtown Disney District that will take you straight to the Esplanade which has both of the park entrances.
Lei, I hope you find this information helpful! Please come back to chat if you have any other questions along the way.
