Do you have to pay to park at the Polynesian Hotel if you are staying off property but still want to go there and walk around and enjoy the scenery. We are not planning on eating a table service meal but might do a quick service meal.

Hi, Alex! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for bringing us your question!

Alex, one of my favorite things to do while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is visit the resort hotels on property and explore the grounds and restaurants. With the impeccable attention to detail, Disney’s Imagineers had as they designed each unique resort hotel, it’s definitely worth the time to schedule a visit during your stay.

Whether to grab a bite or walk the property, you are absolutely welcome to park and visit the wonderful resort hotels. The parking is complementary with a three-hour limit. As Orlando locals, my family loves to go to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to grab lunch or dinner at Capt. Cook's, saving room for some yummy Dole Whip at the Pineapple Lanai afterward of course, then enjoy our yummy treat on the beach. With the stunning view of Cinderella Castle in the background, it just doesn’t get much better than that!  A second favorite is Disney’s BoardWalk! With the Pizza Window, the BoarWalk Bakery, my favorite ice cream on property, Ample Hills Creamery, followed by a fun ride on a surrey bike, an evening at the BoardWalk is always super fun!

I hope you have a wonderful time visiting the Poly during your magical vacation! Don’t forget to leave room for some Dole Whip!

    Aloha,

    Emille
