How can I pay off my Disney resort reservation? The "make a payment" option is not available on the website or the My Disney Experience app. Is it because I only reserved a room, and not a vacation package?

    Hi Kierstyn, welcome to planDisney!

Yes, you are exactly right.  Depending on what type of reservation you made for your Walt Disney World vacation, you may or may not be able to make payments online. Guests who booked a Walt Disney World Vacation Package should be able to pay online in the "My Plans" section of My Disney Experience.  Scroll down to your reservation information, click on the "Show Details" link and you should see a "Make Payment" link next to the balance due amount.

Since you booked a room-only reservation, which is what I mostly do, you will need to call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to speak to a cast member directly.  They will be more than happy to accept a payment towards your reservation.  This is also a great time to add any room requests you may have to your reservation.

Kierstyn, I also like to make payments using Disney Gift Cards. I purchase Disney Gift Cards at retailers that sell them at a discount as a way to save a little extra on my magical vacation.  Disney Gift Cards can be consolidated into larger amounts if desired (currently a maximum of $1,000.00) using the Disney Gift Card link above which makes it super easy to make payments using a Disney Gift Card.

I hope you find this information helpful.  Have a magical vacation!
