    If you pay military discounted park tickets at downtown Disney, are they also tax free?

    It's so nice to have you here, thanks for your question!

    The Disneyland Resort does offer specially priced theme park tickets for qualifying US military members this year. However, those tickets must be purchased through a participating US military base and cannot be bought at the regular ticket booths at the parks. You can use this handy list to find and contact a base near you! Most bases also have a phone number on that list so that you can call them with any additional questions. Once you have your tickets you'll need to link them to your Disney account and make theme park reservations to be able to use them. Theme park reservations can (and do) run out, so make them as soon as you can! You should also plan to have at least one person in your group show their military ID when you arrive at the parks. 

    I see that you're in California, but will you also be planning to spend a night or two at the Disneyland Resort? If so, I want to make sure you know that there might also be special rates at the Disneyland Resort Hotels for US military members! Maybe a fun "staycation" is in order for a little extra magic?
