Can you pay for some members of a dining party and use dining credits for others in the same dining party?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, James!

One of the reasons I love using the Disney Dining Plan when I'm on vacation is because of how flexible it is. There are so many different ways to make the most out of your Dining Plan credits and I'm always figuring out new tips and tricks to make sure that no Snack is left behind!

I'm pleased to tell you, James, that the short answer to your question is: yes! If you are sharing a table with a party that's mixed between guests who are using the Disney Dining Plan and guests who are not, it's no problem to pay part of the bill out of pocket and another part with Dining Plan credits. Usually, the Cast Member serving you will ask at the beginning of your meal if anyone at the table is using the Dining Plan, and you can explain how you'd like to split up the bill then. You can also let your server know when the bill comes which of you will be paying with cash and which will use the Dining Plan and they'll take care of it like magic! At Quick-Service locations it is almost always easier to place two separate orders, one for guests using the Dining Plan and one for guests who are not, and they'll be happy to set that up for you when you order your meal.

I hope this answers your question, James, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
