We have to pay for 2 meals since we are eating at 2 signature meals. We are going to pay out of pocket for Rain Forest. Just don't know what should be the other place on our list, Liberty Tree, Chefs de France, Mama Melrose and BOG.What would you

    Hi, Christine!

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your question is a great one!

When we are using a Disney Dining Plan and have to pay out-of-pocket for a meal, I always look at restaurant menus to determine which meals will be the least expensive. To figure that out, check out the menus at Rainforest Cafe, Liberty Tree Tavern, Chefs de France, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano (one of our favorites!) and Be Our Guest Restaurant.

As you peruse each menu, jot down the cost of each item your party will likely order. Then, total up the cost of each meal if you were paying out of pocket; the two locations that total the least amount of money should be those you pay for out-of-pocket.

Knowing ahead of time what may be on the menu and the likely prices of such items will surely help you make a more informed decision as to where to spend your Disney Dining Plan meal entitlements.

These locations are all fabulous choices; enjoy every morsel!

Send more questions as you think of them, Christine; we love to help!
