As a family that always makes a dining reservation for one of our favorite spots when visiting the parks, we appreciate the added value of the Magic Key dining discount. Apple Pay is a convenient form of payment, and I can appreciate wanting to use your preferred method. When visiting the parks, you can pay using the
Disneyland mobile app with most major credit, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Disney Gift Cards. These forms of payment are accepted at many locations that take credit or debit cards. You should have no trouble using Apple Pay at most Quick Service dining locations and shops. I hope that's good news!
I went ahead and went through the steps to purchase a Magic Key online, and found that currently, you can use each of these payment methods to secure your pass: a Disney Visa Credit or Debit Card, another major credit or debit card, a Disney Gift Card, or a Disney Rewards Redemption Card. Apple Pay isn't on that list, unfortunately. One workaround you could try is purchasing a
Disney Gift Card using Apple Pay. Just be aware that only one gift card can be used per transaction, so you'll need to combine multiple cards before purchasing. The current maximum value on a Disney Gift Card is $1000.
Also, please be aware that if you're eligible for and have selected monthly payments, you'll need a current California billing address and a major credit card at checkout. Having that card on file is necessary for automatic billing. Currently, when using an Imagine Key to enter the parks, you'll also need a valid government-issued photo ID proving your residence.
Selecting the correct Magic Key is super important! Each Magic Key offers different benefits.
