If I want to pay for an item, like a drink, and not have it come out of my snack credits, can I still charge it to my room with my magic band? Is there a way to differentiate between food we want to pay out of pocket for and those we want to use the plan on

    Hi Kimberly,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

If you don’t want to use your Disney Dining Plan entitlements to pay for an item, simply tell the Cast Member who is taking your order that you’d like to pay for the item by using your Resort charging privileges. You’ll be able to see on your bill whether it was paid “in cash” or using one of your snack entitlements, for example.

I recommend keeping your receipts and reviewing them at the end of each Disney Day. If you see a mistake and you weren’t able to correct it at the Disney dining location where you made your purchase, your Resort’s Lobby Concierge should be able to help you correct the transaction.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
