Hey there, Jay, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with a great question!
Disney Gift Cards are an acceptable form of payment for almost everything Disney, from Resort stays to merchandise and more! Disney Vacation Packages - which include a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay and
Theme Park Tickets - are an exception because the balances are due 30 days before your arrival date. So, unfortunately, you would not be able to use a Disney Gift Card to settle this balance at check-in. However, you can use Disney Gift Cards to make payments on your vacation package before the due date.
If you book a Room Only Reservation - without the Theme Park Tickets - a deposit is due at booking with the remaining balance due at the time of check-in. In this scenario, you can pay the remaining balance on your reservation with a Disney Gift Card at the time of check-in.
If you have multiple Disney Gift Cards, you can consolidate them at
DisneyGiftCard.com. Only one Disney Gift Card can be applied when paying your balance online, so consolidating can be a helpful step. You can quickly combine multiple Disney Gift Cards into a single card up to $1000 and apply that gift card to your online cart at checkout. Consolidating the cards is a quick process: navigate to the link above, select the “My Cards” tab on the home page, and log into your account. Once in your account, you will see the option to add up to six Disney Gift Cards. Select the transfer option and combine your balances into a single card.
I hope I’ve answered your question, Jay! No matter which option you choose, a visit to Walt Disney World Resort is in your future! Your vacation is calling!
To Infinity and Beyond,
PG
