Can I pay for a guest not on a dining plan and staying off resort if I have a deluxe dining plan?

Hello there, Nancy. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

You are in for a real treat, literally, with the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. For each night that you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you are entitled to 3 meals and 2 snacks. You can use these credits in any way that you wish mixing and matching between Quick Service Meals and Table Service Meals. You'll also receive a refillable resort mug to be used for soda, coffee and tea for the duration of your stay. Speaking of drinks, with the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan you are also entitled to one drink per meal. If over 21, this can even include alcoholic beverages. If that isn't your thing, however, even specialty milkshakes can be included. Yum!  This plan is amazing. I think you'll be happy to know that you can use your Disney Dining Plan credits in anyway that you choose. If you'd like to treat your Guest to a meal, you can absolutely use your credits for that. In fact, I think that a really sweet thing to do and because you are on the Deluxe Plan you absolutely have more than enough credits to do so!

If you are looking for some dining suggestions, my favorite place to go and even treat my friends is STK Orlando. It's an upscale steakhouse that services delicious food. It's become my family's favorite place for a treat meal or celebration. We also love having breakfast or dinner at 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Both meals are served all-you-care-to-enjoy right to your table. Breakfast includes characters like Lilo & Stitch and their pal Mickey and at dinner you can learn the hula and enjoy some ukulele music while you dine.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask. Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
