Do I pay the full amount up front or just a deposit?

    Hi Keri,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for reaching out to us with your question about booking a visit to Walt Disney World Resort.  I am so glad to see you are considering a trip to the "Most Magical Place on Earth", with the 50th Anniversary Celebration just beginning, you are going to have a wonderful time!

One of the many reasons my family and I love visiting Walt Disney World Resort is how convenient it is to plan and book our stay.  Depending on what you book, there are several different options in terms of payments.  First, if you choose to book a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package that includes both Theme Park Tickets and a Disney Resorts Collection hotel room stay, you are required to pay a deposit and then make payments in My Disney Experience at your convenience.  Final Payment is required roughly 30 days prior to your visit.  Once you confirm your reservation, the official date for your final payment will be included in the confirmation email.

Second, if you choose to book a Disney Resort-Collection Hotel Room-Only stay, again a deposit will be required to book your reservation.  The final balance will be due upon check-in, so once you arrive at your Resort, head to the front desk and a Cast Member will be able to assist with your payment.

Finally, if you are choosing to purchase Theme Park Tickets only, full payment is due at the time of purchase.

I hope this information is useful, Keri.  If you have any other questions as you continue to plan a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, please come back and visit planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
