Can I pay in finance a trip to Disney?

Hey there, hi there, ho there! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney, Amanda! Thanks for stopping by with your question!

Oh boy, how exciting to be considering booking a Walt Disney World visit! I don’t know about you, but I have a severe case of wanderlust, so I’m always looking out for my next travel adventure. And what better place than Walt Disney World, am I right? I just love how each time I visit is an entirely unique experience, as there are so many new and exciting things popping up at the parks. Speaking of which, have you heard about EPCOT’s newest attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! I’m a major thrill seeker and like to think of myself as a coast connoisseur, and I can tell you that this is by far my favorite attraction I have ever been on! On this intergalactic race through space, you’ll be transported back in time in a car that rotates 360 degrees, ensuring you don't miss a second of your adventure with the Guardians of the Galaxy crew. I had a chance to chat about the new attractions with some of my planDisney family on the most recent episode of the planDisney Podcast, so I’ve linked it below so you can take a listen and learn more about this exciting new attraction.

Before I go on for too long about this awesome ride, let’s get to your question! While there is no official financing available for your Walt Disney World vacation, only a $200 deposit is required (though that amount is subject to change) at the time of booking. Your final payment isn’t due until 30 days prior to your arrival. So if you’d like, you can make incremental payments on your vacation in the months leading up to your trip. So, can you use this as an opportunity to chip away at your vacation balance. I do this quite often as it’s easier for me to make payments over time rather than pay everything all at once in one lump sum.

Once you’ve got your vacation all booked up and you’re ready to make a payment, all you’ll need to do is just follow these simple steps:

    • To start, head over to the Walt Disney World website and log into your My Disney Experience account.
    • Next, hover over the My Disney Experience logo in the upper right corner and select “My Plans.” from the drop-down menu.
    • Once loaded, you’ll want to scroll down until you see the "My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets" section and look for the blue link that reads "Make a Payment."
    • Once you click on the link, you can follow the prompts to make your payment, and you are all set!

I do hope you found this answer helpful, Amanda! As you continue to plan for your visit, know that we are here to help you make the most of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. So, please visit us again with any questions you may have.

    Happy Planning!
