Do you pay extra for going to the park for the 4th of July?

Hi Melissa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

This is such a great question and one that I am sure many guests wonder about! It has always been my dream to spend the 4th of July at the Walt Disney World Resort. I have heard that the fireworks displays at both Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot are out of this world.

Ticketing prices will vary depending upon the type of ticket that you purchase (ex: One day Tickets vs. multiple day tickets) and the options that you choose such as Park Hopper Option. Once you pay the admission rate however you will not be charged anything additional just because it is a holiday. If you are considering purchasing a One Day Ticket for Magic Kingdom Park it is considered a Peak Ticket so the price that you will pay for this One Day Ticket will be higher than if you were to purchase a One Day Ticket during a value season. For specific ticketing answers feel free to contact the ticketing line or visit the Theme Park Tickets portion of the Disney Website. Once you have purchased your tickets don’t forget to save yourself some time in line and book your FastPass+ return times!

I hope that I have helped to answer your question. Have a fantastic time!
