Hi Christy,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How nice of you to consider using your dining plan to pay for the meals of everyone in your party.
Since the
Dining Plan entitlements are non-transferable, you will not be able to pay for meals of individuals not on the dining plan. Guests not on a dining plan can pay for their meals separately if dining with guests who are on the dining plan.
Remember that your meal and snack allowance is based on nights of stay. If staying for six nights, for example, using the Disney Dining plan, you would receive 12 meals per person 3-years and over on the dining plan. Half of those meals would be Quick-Service and half would be Table-Service.
I suspect that you have made
Dining Reservations already. If not, remember that reservations can be made 180 days in advance and restaurants do fill quickly, especially for
Character Meals!
We always enjoy the food experience at the Walt Disney World Resort. Signature restaurants, like
California Grill or
Tiffins are a special treat. They typically require two meal entitlements per person per meal. My family loves to do at least one night out at a signature restaurant. Whenever we dine at a signature restaurant, the dining experience is quite lovely. It always adds a little extra pixie dust to our vacations.
Happy Planning!
I do hope you have a magical time!
