Hiya Dana,
Welcome back to planDisney. It has been a while since you last stopped by, but we are so excited that you are here. The offerings in the
Walt Disney World Enchanting Extras Collection are so magical! I have so many on my wish list for this year, including the
50th Anniversary Tour (which is only available for a short time. I’ve never done a VIP Tour experience before but having an opportunity to celebrate the
Most Magical Celebration on Earth in such a unique way is soo tempting!
Speaking of Disney Gift Cards, they are my absolute favorite way to pay for my Walt Disney World Resort Vacations. When I pack for my trips, I always pack my
MagicBand, extra socks, umbrella, and a Disney Gift Card. It is such an easy way to pay for yummy snacks, merchandise, Theme Park tickets, and everything else you need for a most magical vacation. In my experience, yes, you can pay for items off of the Enchanting Extras using a Disney Gift Card. I’ve also known quite a few friends who have done the same in the past as well. Pro tip: If you are trying to purchase an item off the Enchanting Extra list that would require you to pay using more than one Disney Gift Card, I would recommend combining multiple gift cards into one. You would only be able to use one Disney Gift Card for an online transaction and then have to pay the remaining balance using a credit card if the Disney Gift Card you used didn’t fully cover the price. You can easily combine multiple Disney Gift Cards using the Disney Gift Card Website.
To Combine Disney Gift Cards:-Log onto the
site using your Disney account information.
-Locate “My Cards.”
-Add each card number for your Disney Gift Cards one at a time.
-Select the Disney Gift Card you want to transfer all of the other balances to (up to $1,000 total)
-Mark the Disney Gift Card with the combined balance with a notation and toss the now-empty cards.
I hope this answers your question, Dana! Have a magical day, and let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you prepare for your trip next week!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
