Do you pay for 2 and under to eat at any of the character dining experiences?

Hello Maranda, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.

I am so excited to hear that you will be bringing your little prince or princess with you on your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. Character dining is one of my favorite ways to meet my favorite characters. There is no need to stand in line because they will come right to your table. Don't’ forget to have your autograph books and cameras ready because the characters will be happy to take a photo with you.

Your young one is considered to be Mickey’s Special Guest since they are under the age of 3, so there will be no charge for their meal. They are able to share a plate with you at no cost. However, you will want to make sure you include them in your advanced dining reservations. This will help the Cast Members when it comes time to seat your party for dinner. You can make your reservations online, use the My Disney Experience Mobile app, or speak to a Cast Member by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. You can make your advance dining reservations as early as 180 days prior to your arrival. I would highly recommend making your Character Dining Reservations as soon as you can. If you need any more help before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Andrea, Ohio

Hi there, I am Andrea from the Buckeye State. A very proud mom to my princess who is a former Miss Ohio. Friends and family describe me as a "Disney Nerd" and Star Wars fangirl. I have made 30 trips and counting to the Walt Disney World Resort in all stages of life since 1972 as a small child, a young mom with a toddler and now as an empty nester. The love of vacation planning runs strong in my family. My uncle had it, I have it and with my help, you will have it too. Learn More About Andrea
