Hey-Howdy-Hey, Sarah! Welcome to planDisney, where we're the rootinest-tootinest Disney planners in the wild, wild West. I would be delighted to help with your question today!
A day spent at
Walt Disney World Resort is always a treat, and becoming the proud possessor of an
Annual Pass is a great way to ensure that you can spend many days enjoying all that The Most Magical Place on Earth has to offer. As a Florida resident, there are
two options for passes that those of us who don't call the Sunshine State home can only dream of:
- The Pixie Dust Pass allows Passholders to enter the theme parks on most weekdays, subject to certain blockout days that are usually around holidays or other peak visiting times.
- The Pirate Pass provides park access for most days including weekends, again subject to blockout days.
- Both passes offer a convenient monthly payment plan, which is a great way to budget for your magical adventures.
I'm pleased to report that you can most certainly use a
Disney Gift Card to make the down payment for your Annual Pass! You are speaking my language--I like to purchase gift cards throughout the year when I'm able to get them at a discounted price, then use them for my Walt Disney World vacations--it's a great way to save some money that you can instead spend on that perfect souvenir!
Sarah, if the option to use a gift card doesn't appear when you're checking out online, you can call
Passholder Payment Services to process the transaction, or purchase your Annual Pass in person at any of the ticket windows at theme parks or at Guest Relations in
Disney Springs.
I hope this information is just what you needed to fulfill your Annual Pass dreams! I'm so excited for all of the adventures you'll have with your new key to the (Magic) Kingdom. Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney and please come back anytime if we can help with any other questions.
Stay Magical!
Susan
