Can I pay for my dining plan with Disney gift cards?

Hi Andrea! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is so great to hear from you again!

As a family who is always budget conscious…we are always looking for ways to save for and pay for our Walt Disney World Resort Vacations. We are always sure to pay special attention to the Special Offers portion of the Disney website. We have found some really great deals in the past that have made a family vacation much more affordable.

One of the ways that we do save for our vacations is by purchasing Disney Gift Cards. Every time we have some extra money we purchase a gift card and put it away for later use. It has been my experience that you “should” be able to pay for your vacation expenses with your gift cards. I will however stress the importance though of calling to verify this information when making your reservations just to confirm since the last time that I have used gift cards to pay for my vacation was last year.

I hope that you and your family have a magical time!
