Hello, Hilda and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. Hilda, I'm excited to hear that you're planning a trip to
the Most Magical Place on Earth with your niece! I have a young Mouseketeer in my house that is very close in age to needing an adult ticket, so I appreciate this question!
First, I'm happy to report that you ARE able to pay the difference and modify the ticket you purchased. You can go about doing this in a few ways. You may, like you mentioned above, visit the ticket counter on the day of your visit prior to entering the park. However, if you would rather use your time to
grab a Mickey Pretzel or ride
Space Mountain, you can modify that ticket in advance by
calling the Existing Tickets line at (407)566-4985. If your purchased tickets are already linked to your
My Disney Experience account, make sure to have that information pulled up and handy before you call.
Another option to modify your tickets would be to visit the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. My family and I will often visit
Disney Springs on our arrival day before visiting a park. If you are doing the same, this would be a quick and easy stop to change your niece's ticket.
Hilda, I hope this helps as you are dreaming about your Disney days. While you are thinking ahead to your trip, if your niece likes thrill-rides and you're planning to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios, my son would say there is no better attraction than
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Whichever rides you choose, I'm wishing you a pixie-dusted visit full of unforgettable moments. Please come back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other vacation planning questions you might have,
Lauren
