Hiya Aidan,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for your question about my favorite topic, dining! Guests like yourself were thrilled when Walt Disney World Resort announced the return of dining plans. I believe in going big when I travel to Walt Disney World, and dining plans allow you to plan so you can do that.
Speaking of planning, I like that you are already considering your
Cinderella’s Royal Table reservations. As you have already mentioned, Guests looking to dine at Cinderella’s Royal Table are required to pre-pay for their dining experience, except for those Guests using the
Disney Dining Plan. I spoke to a Cast Member, who informed me that when you make your reservation, you will indicate during your reservation that you will be using the Disney Dining Plan, which will bypass the “pre-payment.”
Aidan, also don’t forget that Guests using the Disney Dining Plan will need to use 2 Table-Service meal credits for each person dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table, so make sure that you are planning for that. Before I let you go, I recommend making a test reservation the day before your arrival window opens, if possible. That way, you can see how the process works for notating the Disney Dining Plan, and if you are experiencing any difficulties, you can troubleshoot them without missing out on this dining experience.
Please come back and see
us if you need anything else!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
